Simona's First Summer...

It's been busy, as noted by our few posts! She's now 4 1/2 months old, and continues to amaze us with her superbaby ability. She is so alert and attentive, and a pretty happy baby. She has a lot more control over her head and is not so floppy - she can sit up if you hold her. She kind of swims on land during "tummy time" (for the non-parents, this is a legit phrase, we didn't make it up) - moving her arms and legs but not able to get that belly off the ground just yet. She is figuring out how to use her two hands together to grab things, and does the old lady pose of holding them together, fretting over who knows what. She grabs her toes, she loves her toys. Everything goes in her mouth. And two days ago, she started rolling over. Giant steps for Simona.




She had her second round of shots yesterday (they try to cheer the parents up with these bandaids). The chubbaroo now weighs 16lbs 3oz and is 24 1/2 inches long.
