Eight month update

It's a wonder this girl sleeps at all, with all the excitement she's had lately. She's learned all these things that don't seem like a big deal but that are thrilling to her: pulling herself up to a sitting or standing position, crawling, eating chunkier foods (really just spreading it around the kitchen and herself), singing with her mom, and banging just about anything she can. She still doesn't sleep through the night but she can usually fall asleep on her own (not pretty, but it happens). She's discovered all the fun stuff in our house: seven inches, phone books, dvds, etc. We are officially chasing her all over the place, so don't expect another blog update for a year. Finally, Dan & I joined our newly formed civic association about 3 minutes after it was formed, to help clean up our beautiful but very littered neighborhood. Simona is very accomodating and helpful at committee meetings and events: Linky 1
